General Manager
Operational and managerial responsibilities for a Domino’s location as described below.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, prepare all products, and use proprietary technology.
Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean the equipment and facility approximately daily.
Provide orientation to new hires and continue on‑the‑job training for all employees on store products and procedures.
Perform inventory counts, create schedules, staff the store, and run food and labor while in charge of the shift.
Lead an effective team with good communication skills, give correct written and verbal instructions, and process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; use a calculator and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately at speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including a walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from over 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Other physical requirements: standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, reaching, and frequent hand tasks such as using a pizza peel or cutter.
