Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for an Associate Optometrist at Washington Eye Surgeons in Seattle, WA. The Associate Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, provide post-operative care for cataract procedures, and provide personalized patient education on eye health. The role also involves collaborating with other eye care professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of performing comprehensive eye exams and interpreting diagnostic results
Experience in managing and diagnosing ocular diseases and co-managing surgical procedures like cataract surgeries
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and interact with team members
Active state optometry licensure in Washington and up-to-date with continuing education credits
Passion for patient care and commitment to delivering high-quality services
Previous experience in a clinical or surgical setting is a plus
OD degree from an accredited optometry program
