Assist in managing the product portfolio and working in conjunction with Product Managers in the development or enhancement of products and services. Conduct competitive analysis, product design, coordination with systems, pricing structure, and education of the distribution channels for the product. Develop marketing materials and promotions and obtain all necessary legal and compliance approvals for materials and promotions. Coordinate vendor management for third‑party products and outsource vendors, negotiate contracts, establish performance standards, and manage ongoing contract administration and expense control. Provide product‑specific, consultative, and technical support to the department's sales and service staff and clients. Assist clients in resolving product‑specific technical problems by working with vendors and the bank's technical support areas. Maintain detailed working knowledge of all products and related systems, performing routine and some non‑routine tasks related to successful product management. Track, measure, monitor, and report product usage, as well as conduct ongoing product testing. Provide training for the department and other staff involved in the sales and support the products and services. Create and maintain product training materials and set up documents for the sales and support teams. Draft policies and procedures and oversee the maintenance of up‑to‑date material from all sources. Develop and manage collateral material and sales aids. Accompany the sales team on sales calls and presentations, as appropriate. Provide system support and assist other Product Managers within the team with system upgrades and conversions, as needed. Assist with testing and validation of system changes. Perform all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in business or a related area or equivalent experience. 5 years of product management, cash management, commercial banking, or equivalent work experience is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use any software and systems. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to clearly communicate concepts, business strategies, and project plans. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within teams. Ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines. Must be able to provide own transportation or operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license, and ability to commute and arrive at intended destination in a timely manner and/or as required. Requires occasional inter‑island travel and may include periodic out‑of‑state travel. Must be located in Hawai‘i Seniority Level
