Technical Product Manager II, Corn States

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead product and agronomic systems integration and adoption through knowledge transfer to assigned accounts and geography
Product (genetic + trait combo) characterization, placement, rollout & seed stock sales, collaborate on developing marketing materials and training the organization as well as licensee
Agronomic systems (weed, insect and disease traits & chemistry solutions)
SeedGrowth (seed treatment and bio enhancer awareness)
Digital agriculture (eTPG, Climate FV)
Drive product portfolio and lifecycle management at licensee HQ with assigned squad accounts to deliver P&L
Execute CS portfolio management strategies to maintain genetic refresh in-line with LRP commitments as well as new trait launches
Market & portfolio needs assessment
Customer level product lifecycle management/influence
Customer level supply/crop plan management/influence
Accurate seedstock forecasting and order fulfillment
Collaborate with squad members to assess and develop strategic product supply plan for each assigned account that supports the Corn States genetic and trait strategy
This role will be residence based in IA, WI, Southern MN or Northern IL.
Who You Are Required Qualifications
Industry expert in germplasm and portfolio management with advanced experience in consultative selling techniques
Proven ability to lead through influence
Demonstrated ability to communicate and train a broad audience on agronomic topics
Ability to build relationships with & influence multiple stakeholders
Risk taker to provide advice and make recommendations
Demonstrated success utilizing sales skills, agronomic expertise, and influencing people and teams
Proven success leading complex product portfolio and lifecycle management
Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills
Valid Driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle (driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening)
Preferred Qualifications
B.S., M.S., or PhD in Agronomy or related discipline with minimum 11 (BS), 8 (MS) or 5 (PhD) years of industry experience
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $112,454.40 - $168,681.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
