We’re seeking a strategic, collaborative and creative PAC leader to oversee all aspects of BNY’s federal and state Political Action Committees. Your partner with Government Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance and other stakeholders to drive fundraising, compliance and stakeholder engagement. The

Senior Vice President, PAC Manager

role will report to the Head of US Government Relations and is located in New York, NY or Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee PAC operations: solicitation, processing, record‑keeping, reporting and compliance at federal and state levels

Manage external consultants and law firms on PAC, lobbying compliance, and database systems

Develop and execute fundraising plans, budgets, performance metrics and donor materials

Coordinate donation distribution strategy with the Government Affairs team

Monitor legislative and regulatory changes; advise on political‑giving activities

Plan PAC events and administer donor benefits and engagement programs

Provide guidance on PAC governance, ethics and internal controls and serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders on related issues

If not based in New York, ability to travel (no more than 20%)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of work experience required.

10 years of related experience preferred.

Experience in political fundraising, PAC management; strong familiarity with PAC and lobbying compliance rules

Excellent written and oral communication, editing, and project management skills and ability to effectively engage diverse audiences, including senior executives.

Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously within tight deadlines.

Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to build consensus with the ability to independently execute tasks and deliver results.

Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information.

Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage many competing priorities and responsibilities.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $122,000 and $171,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and Company‑sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
