Senior Project Manager – Multifamily/Student Housing Construction
Landmark Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex multifamily and student housing construction projects exceeding $150 M in value. The position reports to the Director of Construction and manages a multidisciplinary field and project‑management team.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop multiple project teams, ensuring high‑performance project delivery.
Control all phases of construction, from design constructability and scope to cost control, scheduling, logistics, and contract administration.
Maintain rigorous documentation and quality control, addressing design deficiencies and constructability issues.
Coordinate with trade partners, ensuring timely communication of schedule, cost, and technical details.
Prepare and manage the pay‑application process, change‑order tracking, and cost forecast throughout project lifecycle.
Oversee all project closeouts—including financial, punch‑list, and inspection processes—and effective turnover to operations.
Provide executive reporting on project status, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation.
Directly supervise and develop staff, fostering a collaborative environment and continual professional growth.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of residential and mixed‑use construction experience; 5 years of direct supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficiency in scheduling and cost‑control software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
Demonstrated leadership, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced, multi‑task environment.
