Position Summary: The Senior Solution Architecture position will be aligned to the ServiceNow Enterprise Platform team and will work with other Solution Architects as well as agile teams to understand where “the business of IT” should adopt or evolve their use of ServiceNow, then work with the ServiceNow Product Manager to establish appropriate strategic roadmaps and architectural runway for the Enterprise Platform team to target. This position will work with the business to translate expected outcomes into solution architectures and solution process designs/flows that appropriately bridge ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms and will deliver actionable Agile stories for integration requests and drive cross platform/business unit outcomes, iterative delivery options, and priority alignment.
The Senior Solution Architecture position resides in the Cybersecurity Infrastructure organization and is expected to have solid awareness of technologies within this space (Cybersecurity, Cloud, Core Infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, End User Computing) as well as IT disciplines supporting the business. Solutioning broadly across these disciplines and ensuring proper integration across enterprise systems and within ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:
Define and drive the overall solution architecture strategy and roadmap for business initiatives.
Serve as a coordinating architectural advisor for cross-functional solution delivery, ensuring cohesive, value-driven designs through engagement with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, Solution and System Architects, and the ServiceNow Enterprise Platform Product Manager.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business and architecture strategies, while driving data integrity and governance through process evolution and adoption.
Mentor and guide teams in solution architecture best practices across applicable Architecture Domains (Business, Application, Technology. Information and Security architecture).
Resolve complex integration and alignment challenges across systems.
Help understand and design appropriate mining interfaces for data reuse (end user reports, system to system integrations, APIs, ETL, etc).
Represent solution architecture in business and IT strategy discussions, collaborating with IT Business Units and Cybersecurity Infrastructure enablement teams to identify opportunities, prioritize demand, and funnel approved initiatives into the technology roadmap and backlog.
Bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring solutions solve the core business problem.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field or equivalent experience required.
Five (5) or more years of relevant IT experience, including two (2) or more years of relevant architecture experience required.
Experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including architecture principles, process design, development standards, and best practices across modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Strategic Portfolio Management, Service Management, Employee Center, HRSD, Asset Management, and Operations Management (including full AIOps stack) strongly preferred.
Experience working with agile teams and principles, preferred.
