Job Type Full-time Description The Data Architect will lead the development of the Azure-based data repository (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and future data lake that support the company's services and analytics functions. In this role, you will interface with application developers, data analysts, and business users. This position requires a self-starter accustomed to working in challenging, high-growth environments with minimal supervision. Experience with HITRUST, SOC 2, healthcare PHI, HIPAA is a significant plus. The Data Architect will spearhead initiatives to reinvent data repositories supporting SaaS applications, ETL processes, reporting engines, and future machine learning efforts. Periodic data cleansing activities are expected, so experience with Fuzzy logic/grouping is beneficial. The role demands expert knowledge in the Azure SQL Stack, including SSIS ETL packages, query optimization, database design, and reporting solutions. A passion for data and analytics is highly valued, as you will support various business intelligence initiatives. The tools and technologies involved include MS SQL Server, SSIS, Tableau, and others. Requirements PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience with modern data lake architectures and alternative schemas for transactional and analytics data repositories Designing and developing database objects, tables, stored procedures, views, and SSIS packages Hands-on Azure database administration and automation skills Expertise in SSRS report development Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues Thorough understanding of database performance analysis and optimization Experience with Microsoft SQL Server high availability technologies (e.g., Always On, replication) Managing SQL Server instances in Azure Degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred Ability to think critically and communicate effectively, valuing diverse perspectives Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Experience with SSAS and building data warehouses is preferred Healthcare experience is a plus Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus Performs additional duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education : Degree in relevant fields preferred Experience : At least 5 years with SQL Server and 3 years Azure experience; 10+ years in database architecture and administration; healthcare and BI experience advantageous Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Critical thinking, performance optimization, database development, high availability technologies, Azure management, and ability to work remotely or onsite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
