Job Description The Estate Settlement Services (“ESS”) team works with advisors who service high net worth to ultra-high net worth clients across the United States. ESS is an internal team comprised of technical advisors who provide education, training, and practical guidance to advisor teams to help the advisors efficiently navigate the process of settling client estates. Members of the ESS team interact with many segments of the firm including working closely with internal compliance officers and legal departments while also connecting externally with the client’s fiduciary, legal, and tax advisors. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their financial goals through education and guided implementation across key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning. The Estate Settlement Services (“ESS”) team works with advisors who service high net worth to ultra-high net worth clients across the United States. ESS is an internal team comprised of technical advisors who provide education, training, and practical guidance to advisor teams to help them efficiently navigate estate settlement processes. Members interact with many segments of the firm and connect externally with clients’ fiduciary, legal, and tax advisors. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Interpret, summarize, and understand complex wills and trusts written in all 50 states. Articulate complex estate planning and administration concepts clearly to colleagues. Lead calls with client advisors, internal compliance, and legal teams. Manage the contracting process after a client’s death, coordinating with internal teams. Participate in marketing efforts. Interact with client attorneys, tax advisors, and external fiduciaries. Where Will You Make an Impact This position is based in Dallas, Texas, and is part of our Private Wealth Management business, which has locations across the U.S. Qualifications Experience & Skills 5+ years in estate and trust planning and administration. Law Degree required. Understanding of estate planning and administration concepts. Experience with fiduciary income tax and estate/gift tax returns is a plus (not required). Basic knowledge of fiduciary investment processes is helpful. Strong team orientation and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Self-motivated and collaborative. High integrity and problem-solving skills. Seniority level
