Compensation
Salaried: $75,000 $105,000 annually
Compensation is commensurate with experience, education, and relevant credentials.
About the Role
Were seeking a skilled and proactive Pension Administrator (or Senior Pension Administrator) to join our remote team in a client-facing role. Youll be entrusted with managing the administration of a diverse portfolio of defined contribution plansranging in size, structure, and complexity.
This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building lasting relationships with clients and collaborating with a supportive network of specialists, consultants, and coordinators.
If you have DB/DC combo plan experience, youll also enjoy a tailored caseload that incorporates those plan types. Your initial caseload will start at 4050 plans and grow annually until you reach a full portfolio of 80 plans.
Key Responsibilities
Manage eligibility determinations, employee data corrections, and complex contribution calculations
Perform compliance testing across a variety of retirement plan benchmarks
Prepare variance reports, asset reconciliations, valuations, and necessary tax forms (Forms 5500, 8955-SSA, and others)
Support client audits with precision and clarity
Document Review & Consulting
Explain plan document provisions and amendments in simple, accessible terms
Suggest strategic amendments to enhance plan administration
Client Relations & Communication
Provide timely, friendly, and professional responses to client inquiries
Simplify complex pension topics to foster client understanding and confidence
Offer problem-solving insight that adds genuine value to client experiences
Professional Development & Collaboration
Engage in ongoing education (mandatory, even for non-credentialed team members)
Collaborate across teams to enhance our services and processes
Champion innovation, efficiency, and a positive team dynamic
