This company is a well-known GC that specializes in a range of ground up commercial projects in the greater Portland area, focusing in healthcare. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings (MOBs), urgent care facilities, and tenant improvements. Coordinate project teams, including superintendents, subcontractors, designers, and consultants. Collaborate with healthcare clients, facilities staff, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success in occupied and operational healthcare settings. Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies. Monitor and enforce compliance with AHJ codes, OSHPD (or applicable state/local regulations), HIPAA, ICRA, and interim life safety standards. Oversee and document progress, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout procedures. Ensure job site safety and infection control protocols are strictly maintained. Attend OAC meetings, generate project reports, and maintain communication with stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of construction project management experience with at least 2+ years in healthcare construction. Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, ICRA, life safety, and infection control procedures. Experience managing construction in active/occupied healthcare environments. Proficient with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: OSHA 30 Certification CHC (Certified Healthcare Constructor) certification is a plus. Experience with OSHPD/HCAI compliance (if applicable). Familiarity with local Portland healthcare systems and facilities. What's on Offer
