Amentum Amentum is searching for a Top-Secret cleared Cloud Developer (Mid) to join our team in Washington, DC. The organization aims to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The team leverages agile methodologies to provide enhanced reporting and global searching capabilities, facilitating task management, cross-utilization, and addressing national intelligence priorities while protecting confidential data and sources. The Cloud Developer (Mid) will lead large-scale data analysis projects, designing and delivering on-premises and cloud-based applications. Responsibilities include planning and leading the design and development of cloud architectures across multiple enclaves, implementing automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices, and migrating applications to the cloud while adopting cloud capabilities. Responsibilities: Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices. Analyze applications to recommend migration and deployment strategies into cloud environments. Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premise services. Develop and implement cloud applications, migrate existing applications, debug cloud stacks, manage cloud policies, and establish secure cloud environments. Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software independently. Applicants should possess expertise in complex work assignments, demonstrate originality and innovation, and operate with considerable autonomy. A minimum of 5 years’ experience is recommended, with certifications or relevant work experience as substitutes if less than 5 years. This position is contingent upon award and supports on-site work in Washington, DC at the customer facility. Requirements: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Minimum of 5 years of experience, including 3 years of related technical experience. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. In lieu of degree, additional years of experience may be considered. Preferred: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Azure Cloud AWS Associate Level or higher certification(s)
