PT Accountant

The Ford Agency is actively looking for a part-time junior accountant with corporate experience to join the accounting team of a boutique DC architecture firm. This role will assist with AR and AP, prepare and submit electronic invoices, expense reports, month end reporting, and other accounting projects. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with at least a year of bookkeeping experience, who is looking to work immediately, and enjoys working in a team oriented environment with a friendly atmosphere. The firm offers a flexible 20 hr./week schedule. Responsibilities Include: Reconcile invoices for vendors Process expense reports Assist with month and year end reports Interact with vendors and program staff Assist with team projects as needed Qualifications Include: Bachelor's Degree in accounting or similar field 1+ year of corporate accounting experience Experience with AR and AP required Strong technical skills and experience with QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
