This position goes beyond operational oversight, serving as a visionary for Wespath’s web experiences that embody the brand, advance strategic priorities, and deliver exceptional stakeholder engagement. Through proactive collaboration with internal partners, the Web Manager continuously elevates Wespath’s web presence with innovation, intention, and strategic alignment. More specifically, as the Web Manager you will have the following key responsibilities: Web Strategy Development and Implementation Shape and execute a comprehensive strategy for Wespath’s public website aligned with the organization’s brand guidelines and business goals. Collaborate with internal teams to position the website as a driver of marketing and communication campaigns, product and services launches, and stakeholder outreach initiatives. Stay apprised of industry trends—particularly in financial services, benefit plans and investments—and monitor emerging website technologies to ensure the organization’s web presence remains current and competitive. Web Analytics and User Experience Develop and maintain consistent and meaningful website analytics and data that monitor user behavior, drive engagement, and enhance overall website performance. Share key insights regularly with the Communications team to inform content and outreach strategies. Analyze web data to provide actionable recommendations that guide enhancements on site content, design and functionality. Lead ongoing optimization efforts in collaboration with the UX team to enhance the user experience, as well as ensure intuitive navigation, accessibility and responsiveness across devices. Search Engine Optimization Lead the implementation and management of effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase web traffic—exploring innovative approaches including how AI can help to optimize web searches. Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization and link-building activities to maximize website effectiveness. Monitor and report on SEO performance, delivering data-driven recommendations to continuously improve search visibility and impact. Content Management and Development Collaborate with content managers, business partners, and UX teams to define a high-level content strategy for Wespath’s public websites—ensuring site structure, messaging priorities, and content placement to reflect brand identity and business objectives. Support the development and optimization of web content by advising on digital presentation, partnering closely with content creators while focusing on digital implementation and experience. Align the content strategy for the public website with Wespath’s transactional sites and digital marketing strategy to ensure continuity of brand and experience. Ensure all web content adheres to best SEO practices and supports the overall web strategy. Website Maintenance and Management Manage the day-to-day operations of the websites, including updates, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. Coordinate with IT and external vendors, including website host and CMS vendor as needed, for technical support and enhancements. Partner with IT to ensure website security and data protection measures are in place and current. Hybrid working arrangement. The compensation range for this position is $101,000 - $112,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown. Bachelor’s degree in web development, digital marketing, computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in web strategy development and execution, analytics, SEO and user experience optimization. Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g.; Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and SEO tools. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) including demonstrated hands-on experience managing websites using static and dynamic content. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) integration (e.g., Salesforce). Demonstrated ability to lead web strategy from ideation through execution, bringing fresh thinking and proactive problem-solving to cross-functional challenges. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
