consumer e-Commerce
(DTC)
space, seeking to recruit a
Digital Analytics Director. General Description: The
Digital Analytics Director
is a new role
within the growing
Digital Marketing
team. This role will be
critical in building the e-Commerce & Digital Marketing analytics,
providing critical,
actionable insights
and information to the teams and leadership. The Digital Analytic Director will
uncover trends and insights
to improve the performance of the company's eCommerce and Digital Marketing channels. Responsibilities: Own the data orchestration, visualization, and analysis of the digital marketing and eCommerce activity. Use industry standards, best-in-class tools and practices in developing the brand's site & channel analytics for its eCommerce Business. Provide brand team with proper industry benchmarks, performance drivers, and appropriate KPIs to measure performance. Aid in Google Analytics management for proper data capture - tagging structure, UTM structure, channel settings, custom events, etc. – and partner with appropriate team members to execute. Deliver digestible weekly and monthly, cross-channel performance reports with key takeaways and actionable insights. Ad hoc forecasting/modeling based upon trends, research and analysis. Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution to build customer profiles. Work with channel owners to understand ongoing reporting & insight needs and build out dashboards/reports by channel. Recommend website and campaign optimizations based on findings; prioritize initiatives that most impact the bottom line, with an eye towards improving our Cost per Acquisition, increasing ROI, our CLV & retention rates. Working daily with analytical software including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Shopify Reports, Triple Whale, Klaviyo, and Lifetimely. Handle any additional tasks as needed. Skills: Solid analytical skills
and ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions in a complex environment. Strong knowledge of
dashboarding and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau
and other similar products. Expertise in
marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Excel , etc. Working knowledge of
Shopify . Good knowledge of
MS Excel
(i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Merging Data). Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Requirements: 5 years
of relevant experience in
e-commerce/digital marketing analytics
roles at
high growth eCommerce, direct to consumer (DTC), personal care product (PCP) companies, beauty industry experience is preferred. Understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing KPIs and landscape:
digital media & marketing channels, content management/e-commerce platform systems and principles, website analysis and optimization principles, etc. Google Analytics
Certified and experience with GA4 a plus. Education: Seniority level
