Monitor and manage accounts receivable to identify overdue balances. Contact clients via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding invoices. Resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary. Maintain accurate records of all collection activity in internal systems. Generate and analyze aging reports to prioritize collection efforts. Collaborate with internal departments (Accounting, Sales, Customer Service) to resolve disputes. Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-off based on company policy. Ensure compliance with company guidelines and relevant collection laws (e.g., FDCPA, where applicable). Prepare regular reports on collection status and progress for management review. 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks). Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
