Sr Assembly Technician
Sr Assembly Technician needed for a manufacturing company in the Irvine Spectrum. Long-term temporary, lasting at least 6 months, with the possibility of getting hired. Paying $26-28/hr, depending on experience. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with an unpaid 1/2 hour lunch. Ideal candidates will have the following: Mechanical and electrical engineering background with strong computer knowledge. Attention to Detail: There are 180+ pages of steps to follow. Experiences low error rates and follows instructions and procedures. Computer skills: Windows, MS Excel, MFT, Executables, and .ini files. Need to be able to troubleshoot problems based on the error messages. Needs to be familiar with mechanical adjustments, align complex optical systems, lasers, critical thinking/troubleshooting, familiar with cabling. Experience using the following tools: multi meter, torque driver, pipette, light meter, temperature data lager, laser collimation, oscilloscope, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) Manual Dexterity: Has great manual dexterity and enjoys putting things together. Copes with Pressure: Can effectively cope with pressure, setbacks, and changes in the environment. Can swiftly change direction and focus on the task at hand. Ethical: Follows all instructions, guidelines and procedures ensuring the assembly of products are to the required. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
