JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Chattanooga, TN Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: 02/16/2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: TBD On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call, 19:00 7:00 Call Type: Beeper COVERAGE DATES February 16, 2026 ongoing 35 twenty-four-hour call shifts per month PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Women of reproductive age Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 2,500 deliveries annually Admissions: Yes Rounding: Included as needed Case Mix: Obstetrics and gynecology; no circumcisions required from OB-GYN providers FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: Parkridge East Hospital has 128 beds EMR System: Meditech Specialty Backup Available: Level III NICU with 22 bassinets Support Staff Available: Collaborative OB/GYN team; midwives with first-assist surgical experience Reason for Coverage: Ongoing locum call coverage support Robotic Equipment: Three da Vinci Xi robots available PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Travel covered; airfare, lodging, car rental or mileage included REQUIRED PROCEDURES Labor and delivery management General obstetrical and gynecological procedures Robotic surgery experience preferred JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Tennessee license required or ability to obtain; IMLC candidates accepted Board: BC/BE in Obstetrics/Gynecology; BE must be within 5 years of completing residency DEA: Required Other Qualifications: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary OB/GYN team DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide structured 24-hour obstetrics and gynecology call coverage Manage labor and delivery patients Perform obstetrical and gynecological procedures Participate in a collaborative care model with midwives Utilize available da Vinci Xi robotic equipment when applicable
