The job involves: Training and supervising employees Knowledgeable of contract documents required for proper planning of construction staffing, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination Coordinating with Pre-construction Services while preparing estimates, buyout regarding methods, systems, schedule, and general conditions. Monitoring and delegating team members with tasks from the beginning to end phases of project. Creating and executing pre-planning activities for project with subcontractors to ensure coordinated efforts. Coordinating subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems regarding methods or materials. Inspecting in progress work to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules. Documenting on-sight activities in daily reports, including verbal directives, progress pictures, delays, weather conditions, and on site manpower Developing a detailed construction phase schedule for the project and updating it weekly to ensure that critical path activities and milestones are being achieved. Preparing a recovery plan to mitigate delays to the critical path of the project. Establishing and maintaining an effective and professional on site working relationship with Owner, Architects, Consulting Engineers, and other parties related to the project. Assisting in monitoring and planning the quality control program. Enforcing a safe work environment, culture, and practices on the project. The ideal candidate should have: Ground up experience 5+ years of experience in multifamily construction (podium or stick-frame) Strong mentoring and teaching skills Excellent communication skills, leadership experience, organized, motivator, strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to prioritize, provide training to enhance team, ability to evaluate staff strengths and weaknesses, organized and disciplined thinker Strong computer aptitude and mathematical background is necessary What's On Offer
