CHE Behavioral Health is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Hayward, CA.
CHE Behavioral Health Services provides psychiatric services to residents in long-term care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living residences. Position Details:
Offers flexible part-time and full-time options with W2 fee-for-service arrangements, customizable packages including:
Competitive remuneration, with potential income starting at $45,000 for part-time and up to $195,000 annually for full-time.
Training & supervision, free CEUs, 401(k) with 25% match on the first 6% of deferrals, medical/dental/vision insurance (full-time), electronic documentation (EMR), work-life balance, flexible schedule, no on-call, nights, or weekends.

Team and Culture:
You will join a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, and clinical leaders dedicated to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and professional integrity. We promote a collaborative approach to psychiatric services within multidisciplinary settings, supported by ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Design your own schedule for optimal work/life balance, typically working Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Additional Duties:
Assess patients’ mental and physical status based on symptoms.
Collaborate with team members to develop and evaluate treatment plans.
Consult with psychiatrists or other professionals on complex cases.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Diagnose disorders, distinguishing between physiological and psychological causes.
Prescribe medications, understanding drug actions, interactions, and reactions, including controlled substances according to privileges.
Qualifications:
MSN as a Nurse Practitioner.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with Post-Master’s Psych certification (PMHNP).
Active state license with DEA or in process.
Experience in Long-term Care or Short-term Rehab is a plus.
