Their product range includes carbon fibers, reinforcement fabrics, prepregs, and honeycomb cores, which are used in everything from aerospace components and lightweight automotive parts to wind turbine blades and high-performance sports gear. Partner with site teams to estimate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, waste, water usage, and other key sustainability metrics, overseeing data collection and reporting across GHG Scopes 1, 2, and 3, as well as waste and water. Create technical resources and best-practice tools to streamline sustainability data gathering and effectively communicate insights to senior leadership. Foster a world-class sustainability culture by collaborating across departments to enhance reporting accuracy, risk management, and internal communications. Stay ahead of evolving sustainability regulations and clearly communicate their operational impacts. Lead or support sustainability initiatives and reporting to external organizations such as CDP, EcoVadis, and TCFD. Drive operational compliance and continuous improvement projects focused on reducing energy consumption, GHG emissions, water use, and waste; support ISO 14001 and 50001 certification efforts. Lead development of Scope 3 emissions roadmaps and life cycle analysis (LCA) projects, establishing systems and processes to manage these critical areas. Manage strategic Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) processes and third-party data validations, while developing ambitious new sustainability goals, including net-zero targets. Prepare and present comprehensive sustainability performance reports and compliance updates to stakeholders. Engage with industry associations and mentor EHS teams across sites to build and sustain a strong global sustainability culture. At least 7 years of experience in sustainability, EHS, or related fields with a focus on sustainability initiatives. Practical, hands-on knowledge of core sustainability principles and environmental compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead projects within a lean organizational structure. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset.
