Position Summary - Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Client Partner to lead business development for our Microsoft Business Applications and AI Solutions Practice, with a regional focus on Houston, TX and the broader Energy and Industrial sectors. This role will report directly to the VP of the Biz Apps Practice and partner with technical architects, delivery leaders, and engagement managers to pursue strategic accounts, drive pipeline growth, and shape co-sell motions with Microsoft. The ideal candidate understands the Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Fabric), and has a growing familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and other AI tools used in business workflows. This role will also partner directly with Microsoft’s newly formed Energy Organization Sales Unit, based in Houston and the greater Texas region, to drive aligned co-sell efforts and deliver industry-relevant innovation to enterprise energy customers. AI-powered business solutions . Cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, from business and IT to operations and digital innovation leaders. Lead customer discovery sessions, industry use case mapping, and solution storytelling aligned to client outcomes. Sales Execution & Microsoft Co-Sell Partner with

Microsoft’s Energy Sales Unit , local Account Executives, PDMs, and SSPs to drive co-sell motions and secure aligned opportunities in the Texas energy market. Develop and present value propositions, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with Mobiz delivery and solution teams. Own opportunity pursuit from early qualification to contract execution and account transition to delivery. AI & Innovation Focus Stay current with Microsoft’s

AI roadmap , including Copilot, Azure AI Services, AI Builder, and other Business Applications integrations. Educate customers on how to apply AI to frontline operations, customer service, financial insights, and field service modernization. Help organize and lead executive workshops, AI innovation sessions, and proof-of-value engagements. Practice Growth & Client Success Provide client feedback to shape new offerings and packaged solutions for AI, CRM modernization, and intelligent automation. Support internal teams with market insights and account strategy. Contribute to account planning, quarterly business reviews, and client growth initiatives. Qualifications & Experience 7–12 years of experience in enterprise IT consulting, digital transformation, or business development. Deep familiarity with

Microsoft Business Applications , including Dynamics 365 (CE, F&O), Power Platform, and Copilot. Experience working at Microsoft, a Microsoft Partner, or an SI/ISV with strong Microsoft practice. Ability to confidently engage with VP and C-level decision makers across business and technology domains. Proven success shaping proposals, developing SOWs, and winning complex services deals. Understanding of solution patterns for

AI in business applications

(e.g., Copilot in CRM, AI Builder, OpenAI integration). Domain experience in

energy, utilities, or asset-intensive industries

is highly preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft’s Industry Clouds, FastTrack methodology, or partner co-sell tools (Partner Center, Co-Sell Connect). Exposure to AI-led innovation use cases such as predictive service, intelligent customer insights, field service automation, and AI-assisted contact centers. Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong collaboration across sales, delivery, and partner teams.
