We are looking to hire a Systems Engineer 1 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

Salary: $160k

Responsibilities:

Manage Confluence and Jira as the organizational administrator.

Create and modify documentation from SOPs, training, and timelines using Job Qualification Standard (JQS).

Produce clear, accurate documentation understandable by new team members.

Track team access and training compliance.

Manage system and derived requirements to align with DoD system architectures.

Maintain systems engineering documentation including SEPs, ICDs, and requirement specifications.

Ensure system requirements align with mission objectives and support Mission Operations.

Coordinate technical reviews and boards such as Triage, MRB, JRR, CDR/PDR.

Manage alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design refresh cycles with PELs.

Define verification processes and evaluation criteria for systems and subsystems.

Contribute to system design efforts to meet requirements and functional analyses.

Support requirement planning and approval using Jira.

Implement SOA solutions for system integration.

Standardize architecture views using DoDAF guidelines within Jira and Kibana.

Train PELs on systems engineering documentation and requirement execution.

Coordinate verification planning with stakeholders and present plans to leadership.

Create function analyses using Jira for reporting and planning.

Manage requirement baselines and change control in Jira.

Provide engineering direction for hardware/software development, integration, and testing.

Track system lifecycle performance metrics including reliability, maintainability, survivability, and vulnerability.

Establish procedures for system integration across organizations.

Requirements:

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. No CCA's accepted.

Seven (7) years of SE experience in similar scope programs.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or five (5) years of additional SE experience in lieu of a degree.
