The Senior Superintendent will take a lead role in directing the day-to-day field operations of major ground-up multifamily and commercial construction projects. Acting as the on-site authority, this individual will oversee all field personnel, drive project schedules, maintain top-tier quality control, and uphold rigorous safety standards. Collaborating closely with project executives and management teams, the Senior Superintendent will be instrumental in shaping project outcomes, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring seamless coordination across all trades. This is a high-impact leadership position for a seasoned builder who excels in managing large, complex jobs from preconstruction through final turnover. Key responsibilities include: Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and daily execution across large-scale projects Enforce strict adherence to job site safety protocols, upholding OSHA and company standards to maintain a safe work environment Monitor and report project progress, identifying potential schedule or budget deviations and keeping stakeholders informed Review and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate field implementation Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges, using a solutions-focused approach to maintain momentum Conduct thorough daily site walks and lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal teams Manage all inspections with local jurisdictions and third-party consultants to ensure timely approvals and compliance Maintain comprehensive project records including daily logs, safety reports, RFI tracking, and as-built documentation Provide strong leadership and mentorship to field staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence Partner closely with project management and engineering teams to align field operations with project goals Participate in risk assessment and proactively mitigate issues that could affect timeline, cost, or quality Champion quality control across all phases of construction to exceed client standards and project expectations Apply today using the link provided and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application. In return for a competitive compensation package, the ideal candidate will possess the following: 12+ years of progressive experience overseeing large-scale ground-up multifamily and/or commercial construction projects - essential Demonstrated success managing complex builds valued at $100M+ from preconstruction through final turnover - essential Expert-level leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor field staff and drive performance across all trades - essential Exceptional communication and coordination abilities, ensuring alignment between field operations, project management, and executive leadership - essential Willingness to work onsite daily across high-profile projects throughout the Greater San Antonio area - essential Advanced knowledge of construction sequencing, safety compliance, quality assurance, and project scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project) - preferred What's on Offer
