We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation AI/GenAI solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work on impactful, high-scale SaaS products that serve enterprises and users globally. Responsibilities Lead architecture and delivery of cloud micro-services in Python with frameworks such as FastAPI, Streamlit, Gradio, and others. Own GenAI initiatives end-to-end, including data strategy, model selection, deployment, and optimization for various AI applications. Set engineering standards for reliability, security, performance, CI/CD, and observability; enforce through code reviews and mentoring. Drive cross-functional execution, scope epics, align roadmaps, and deliver features on time while mitigating risks. Champion production excellence, define SLOs, monitor telemetry, lead incident responses, and conduct root-cause analyses. Mentor engineers, foster a culture of continuous learning, and document decisions through design docs and reviews. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience; Masters preferred. 6+ years of professional Python development, including large-scale AI/ML systems. Experience with foundation-model APIs and AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Windsurf/Cursor, Claude Code. Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines. Leadership experience in setting technical direction and mentoring. Preferred Qualifications Expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, ADK, MCP, A2A, and multimodal model orchestration. Experience with next-gen AI coding agents/IDEs such as Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code. Knowledge of GCP services, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes. Understanding of data stores, streaming frameworks, distributed systems, observability, and SRE practices. Ability to turn research papers into prototypes and thrive in an AI-first culture.
