Senior Civil Engineer

for our

Provides technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, improvement, and construction of infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector. Tasks may include assisting with the research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of roads, tunnels, dams, and bridges. Substantiates reports and documentation regarding material, installations, and construction specifications. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. Your Impact Determine methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from various sources such as surveys, blueprints, GIS data, and more for project development, design, and construction. Perform professional civil engineering work, conduct research and inspections to ensure conformance with rules, standards, and permits. Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and coordinate with stakeholders. Incorporate advanced modeling techniques and design standards to ensure safety and functionality. Work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects, ensuring work conforms to specifications and regulations. Prepare data visualizations, reports, sketches, and calculations for presentations and analysis. Maintain quality control standards and assist with project scoping. Provide guidance to entry-level engineers and prepare technical reports and presentations. Assist with data analysis during field investigations and develop action plans for risk mitigation. Prepare and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs). Ensure regulatory compliance and interact professionally with agencies, subcontractors, and clients. Stay current with civil engineering practices and techniques. Collaborate on infrastructure projects with authorities at various levels. Adhere to ethical standards and company policies. Perform additional duties as needed. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. 5-7 years of relevant experience and civil design background. Engineer in Training Certification. Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations. Experience in infrastructure planning, design, and construction management. Understanding of environmental considerations and regulations. Ability to perform technical calculations and interpret plans. Project management experience for small to mid-sized projects. Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences. Self-motivated with attention to detail and multitasking ability. Ability to work independently and lead junior team members. Proficiency with technical software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and others. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to direct field activities and ensure safety. Commitment to safety standards and policies. Flexibility to work beyond typical hours and travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Engineering. Professional Licensure. Experience managing projects. OSHA HAZWOPER certification. First Aid and CPR training.
