Overview: The objective of this JCC2 program is to provide the DoD, through Air Force Life Cycle Management HNC (AFLCMC/HNC), with technical and expert-level support to the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and the Services. This effort will deliver JCC2 Training and Field Application Engineering to integrate and optimize current and future JCC2 applications across the Department of Defense (DoD). Position Overview: Rackner is seeking Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to be a critical part of the JCC2 program. The candidate must be an expert in operational and information environments, strategic and operational integration, with experience within the Commands and supporting organizations. The role involves providing onsite technical expertise, assistance, and training, acting as a conduit between the Government PMO and stakeholders, creating best practices, drafting and documenting TTPs and SOPs, integrating JCC2 capabilities with organizational data and processes, and testing new features. Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise for assigned tasks. Support process improvement, detailed studies, and requirements definition with analytical skills. Deliver customer support through on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of systems. Understand Cyber Mission Force (CMF) structure, cyberspace tools/capabilities, and possess experience in system/network administration, incident response, and forensic analysis. Participate in establishing and measuring customer satisfaction metrics. Manage projects from client engagement, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Communicate client feature requests to the JCC2 PMO and support personnel. Develop documentation and train operators on equipment and systems as directed. Foster a team environment that promotes customer satisfaction. Demonstrate a results-oriented work ethic and excellent customer service skills. Required Qualifications: Ability to conduct database queries. Willingness to travel over 25%. Current secret clearance with the ability to attain TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a polygraph. At least 5 years of experience in the Cyber Mission Force community. Minimum of 10 years of IT systems administration experience on Microsoft and Linux platforms. At least 2 years of experience with maintenance (patching, STIGs, upgrades) on AWS cloud infrastructure. Proven experience and training in AWS system administration and development best practices. Desired Qualifications: Programming and querying experience. Strong project management skills, with experience in DevOps and/or SAFe/Agile methodologies. Experience with Atlassian collaboration tools. AWS SysOps Administrator certification. Red Hat certification. Experience in government or military cyber environments.
