Position Overview:

The Agile Delivery Lead serves as a coach, connector, and catalyst within our HR transformation efforts. This hybrid role bridges strategy and execution by guiding teams in Agile ways of working, removing barriers to progress, and ensuring the successful delivery of inclusive, employee-centered initiatives. Through servant leadership and delivery discipline, this role helps turn vision into reality by building momentum, trust, and value at every step.
With a focus on speed, clarity, and continuous improvement, this role enables People Operations to deliver HR programs and process improvements that adapt to evolving business needs while enhancing the overall employee experience.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Technology, Supply Chain, Education, or related field - or equivalent work experience or certifications
2-4 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Project Manager
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I, or PMI-ACP), required
Lean Six Sigma or SAFe certification, preferred
Demonstrated success applying Agile and Lean methodologies in business functions (HR, shared services, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.)
Strong proficiency in Agile delivery tools (Smartsheet, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Agile Coaching & Team Enablement:
Serve as an Agile coach for one or more cross-functional HR teams, fostering accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews, tailoring practices to each team’s needs.
Promote Agile values and Lean thinking, guiding teams to apply iterative methods and Lean problem-solving tools (e.g., A3, Kanban, Rapid improvement Events).
Apply Lean-Agile principles to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and streamline execution in non-technical environments.
Delivery Oversight & Execution:
Drive coordination and delivery of multiple HR and transformation projects, managing timelines, scope, milestones, and interdependencies.
Translate high-level business goals into actionable tasks, collaborating with teams to plan, sequence, and deliver value consistently.
Track and manage tasks, issues, and risks using Agile tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira); ensure visibility and alignment across teams and leadership, escalating risks when necessary.
Maintain and report on key delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput) to support transparency and inform decisions.
Identify and remove delivery roadblocks and cross-functional dependencies that impact progress.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Leadership:
Collaborate with stakeholder functions - including Operations, IT, Legal, business leaders, and executive leadership - to coordinate delivery and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Lead and support change management efforts by clearly communicating priorities, managing expectations, and driving adoption across teams and business partners.
Champion organizational change by fostering stakeholder engagement, addressing resistance, and embedding Agile and Lean practices into People Operations culture.
Contribute to enterprise-level initiatives where People Operations expertise adds executional value and aligns with broader transformation goals.
Educate business partners and stakeholders unfamiliar with Agile methods; serve as a trusted delivery advisor within People Operations.
Support annual planning and strategy deployment; facilitate Weekly Business Review (WBR) routines to ensure metric accountability and operational visibility; and participate in quarterly roadmap and portfolio reviews to align team priorities with enterprise objectives.

Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels Mobility : Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds Hearing Requirements:
Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed. Reading and Writing Proficiency:
Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively. Vision Requirements:
Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed. Technology Proficiency:
Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software. Effective Communication:
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
