Primarily work on largescale academic and healthcare projects in Rhode Island, also do public/community and industrial. Generally will be a combo of on-site/in-office, some jobs 100% onsite. In business over 100 years, headquartered out of CT, second office in Providence RI. DO NOT hire on a project-to-project basis, very clear they won't hire without ability to keep them on! They really are looking for people who are eager and excited to be there. They don't want someone that is looking for a three-year stepping stone before moving on to something else. The right Project Manager has the following qualifications: Strong background in ground-up commercial work along the lines of (Healthcare, public, K-12, Higher-Ed) Very comfortable managing projects $15M-$30M start to finish 5+ years of Project Management experience with a Commercial General Contractor (required) Ability to implement Lean construction principles Thorough understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means and method, materials, survey methods & overall construction planning and cost control B.S. and/or M.S. degree in engineering or construction management Computer skill & familiarity with construction softwares P6, JD Edwards, Textura, BIM 360 Field - a plus OSHA 10, OSHA 30 What's on Offer
