In this exciting role, you’ll give clients financial guidance while forming lasting relationships built on trust, respect, and reaching a common goal. As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for managing existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients - this role is for you. Required Qualifications: A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance, which will be required during your tenure on the job. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client relationships by applying focused communication strategies and exceeding client expectations. Strong candidates will learn to leverage our team of Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, market knowledge, and their ability to inspire action to help clients achieve their goals. Openness to managing wealth on behalf of clients, including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning. Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve. Passion for community engagement to share and discuss market conditions, sound investing principles, and long-term wealth strategies with clients. Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while furthering professional development in Wealth Management. Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing.
