A distinguished national law firm is seeking an experienced Principal Attorney with a strong background in Emerging Companies and Venture Capital (ECVC) transactions. This role offers the opportunity to counsel early-stage and emerging brands, lead sophisticated financing transactions, and collaborate with a talented, bi-coastal team across multiple offices.

Seattle, WA Duties
Provide corporate governance and day-to-day counseling to early-stage and emerging companies Lead capital raise transactions, including private offerings, debt, and equity financing Represent clients in deals involving friends and family investments, angel investors, venture capital funds, syndicates, and traditional banking institutions Advise on public company matters, securities compliance, capital markets transactions, and M&A (preferred) Collaborate across practice areas, working with attorneys from all six offices Build and expand client relationships using a full-service bi-coastal platform Participate in firm-wide initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion Engage in pro bono work and public service matters (optional but encouraged) Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience handling ECVC and corporate governance matters Demonstrated success in representing early-stage brands and companies in financing transactions Partial portable book of business required Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and client-service orientation Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a diverse legal team Commitment to responsive and professional client service Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications
Admission to the bar and active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Skills
