Litigation Associate Attorney – Complex Litigation & Environmental Matters (Mid-Level)
San Francisco, CA
Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a premier law firm known for its high-stakes complex litigation and sophisticated regulatory work.
We are partnering with a top-tier firm to identify a mid-level associate (JD years 2020–2022) for their elite Litigation, Regulatory, Environmental, and Energy practice based in San Francisco. This group is engaged in some of the most cutting-edge work in the country, including:
High-profile litigation matters
Development of utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery)
Mixed-use real estate initiatives
Complex regulatory issues and enforcement defense
Support for corporate transactions
Ideal candidates will have: 2+ years of litigation experience at an Am Law firm
Excellent academic credentials
Strong research and writing skills
Exposure to environmental, energy, regulatory, or complex commercial litigation
A federal clerkship is but not required
Compensation: Annual base salary range of $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated associate to work on sophisticated matters at the intersection of litigation, regulatory, and environmental law, all while contributing to a nationally recognized practice.
