General Summary
Assists with the marketing and fan engagement initiatives for the athletic department. Oversees marketing plans and game presentation for assigned sports, with the primary goals of increasing attendance, enhancing the fan experience, and growing the Bronco Athletic Brand. Major Duties Plans, directs, and executes game presentations for assigned sports, overseeing all in-game elements. Collaborates with external staff to develop unified game-day strategies. Coordinates campus events to promote upcoming games and drive student involvement. Supports select community engagement activities to enhance fan connection and boost visibility. Responsible for scheduling and managing mascot and spirit team appearances. Supports the development and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives. Assists in coordinating weekly digital communications. Utilizes working knowledge of social media platforms to contribute to digital outreach efforts. Aides in production of design materials such as print collateral, social media graphics, and other visual content used in event marketing. Manages budget and business office operations related to assigned sports and tasks. Ensures full compliance with policies and procedures of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Mid-American Conference (MAC), National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), Missouri Valley Conference (MVC), and the University. Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises student employees. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution. Two years’ relevant experience. Experience working inNCAADivision I collegiate athletics or professional sports marketing. Experience working with administrators, coaches and student athletes. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent graphic design abilities. Strong organizational skills. Supervisory or lead experience. Social media experience with current and emerging applications. Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays. Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in related field from an accredited institution. Three years’ relevant experience. Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
