Position Summary The Experience Hub at the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) and Saint John's University (SJU) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit-eligible position of Fleischhacker Center Program Manager.
The Program Manager for the Fleischhacker Center oversees the day to day management of the Bonner Leader Program. Additionally, this role provides support and training for the Summer Leadership Fellows Program. The Program Manager plays a key role in promoting community-engaged learning (CEL) opportunities, mentoring students, and building collaborative relationships with community organizations and campus partners.

The posted wage represents CSB and SJU's good faith estimate of likely compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will be dependent upon several factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills, and may fall outside of the range indicated.
Responsibilities Program Management & Development (60%) Foster the relationship with the national Bonner Foundation through annual reports, semester check-ins, and regular phone calls. Lead the annual selection of the Bonner student cohort in partnership with the Admission Office, Student Employment, and Financial Aid. Partner with the center Director to identify CEL sites, and manage the placement of Bonner students at placement sites. Independently evaluate student community placements, ensuring compliance with partnership criteria and institutional protocols. Act as primary mandated reporting contact for students serving at CEL and Bonner sites. Manage program budget and fiscal operations efficiently. Develop and lead Bonner programming including: Bonner Orientation, student conferences, and campus visits, and the first-year service trip. Represent the institution in national Bonner Foundation meetings, with authority to commit to programming initiatives and to report on institutional priorities. Supervise Bonner Leader Team student employees and attend student meetings. Develop, update, and manage marketing materials, educational content, and program recognition using platforms such as LinkedIn, WordPress, Teams, Pathify, Canva, and Canvas. Provide support for selection, training, mentorship, and professional development of Jackson Fellows, as a part of the Summer Leadership Fellows program.
Student Mentorship (20%) Coach students on program goals and aspirations including selection of appropriate community-based student employment sites. Develop and facilitate developmentally appropriate four-year curriculum for students regarding social change, leadership, and professional development as a part of the Bonner Leader Program. Mentor Bonner students throughout their personal and professional development journey. Guide and support the development of the student Bonner Leader Team. Exercise independent discretion in resolving program issues such as site-student conflicts, performance concerns, and compliance with institutional policies.
Collaborative Partnership Building & Outreach (20%) Partner with center Director to develop and cultivate strategic partnerships with community organizations and individuals to provide experiential learning opportunities and connections. Identify and collect student success stories for use in office-related marketing and communication. Explore opportunities to engage the larger campus community with the Bonner Leader Program and the Bonner Foundation. Analyze program budgets and make recommendations to the Director for long-term and sustained community partner engagement. Partner with Experience and Professional Development (XPD), the Center for Global Education (CGE), and Office of Undergraduate Research & Scholars (OURS) to engage students on behalf of the Experience Hub (EH).

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Experience coordinating events and programs Demonstrated experience in student or peer mentorship; experience mentoring college age students in higher education preferred Strong communication skills - ability to engage constituents using a variety of communication methods, both internally and externally Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and align priorities accordingly Ability to create marketing content for digital platforms (i.e. websites, social media, presentations, etc.); experience in marketing, outreach, digital content creation and social media production preferred Strong organizational, budget management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
Physical Requirements: Requires working at a computer for extended periods, including typing, reading from a screen, and using various software programs essential for the role. Occasionally required to lift or move items up to 10-15 pounds.
Travel Requirements: Regional travel is required. Travel may occasionally include students and involve supervision. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required for Bonner program events. Occasional travel between the campuses of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY After one year of benefit eligible employment, CSB/SJU provides disability coverage in the event of an illness or injury that prevents you from working. VACATION Paid vacation is accrued based upon FTE and the number of years employed. Vacation is cumulative from year to year to a maximum of 240 hours.

TUITION REMISSION Tuition remission is an educational benefit provided by CSB/SJU. A full-time employee and spouse (if applicable) are eligible for tuition free educational benefits the first full semester after six months of employment. Full time employees may enroll for one undergraduate course per term, which includes summer: up to a maximum of 2 courses per year.
There is also a tuition remission program for dependent children of full-time employees. This program provides a financial resource to a son or daughter for meeting the tuition costs of undergraduate education. Eligibility begins the fall or spring semester following 2 years (24 months) of continuous full-time employment. There are also two consortia programs in which CSB/SJU participate where employees' children may apply for scholarships to attend other colleges/universities.
Tuition assistance is also available at Saint John's Preparatory School for the dependents of full-time employees.
PARENTAL LEAVE A paid leave (up to 15 days) will be granted to eligible employees upon the birth or adoption of a child, pro-rated based on FTE. New employees are eligible for this benefit after twelve months of employment.
