The Senior Network Engineer - Cybersecurity Specialist will oversee cybersecurity initiatives, enhance online city services, and serve as an advisor on cybersecurity policies, risk assessments, and incident mitigation. The role involves collaboration across departments to increase cybersecurity awareness, training, and defenses. Job Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of systems and networks. Create and update incident response plans. Monitor security logs, analyze alerts, and respond to incidents. Conduct security awareness training for staff. Stay informed on current threats and update security controls accordingly. Collaborate with departments to integrate security measures. This is an on-site role. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Valid Ohio Driver's License. At least four years of management or administrative experience. Experience in security requirements development, risk assessment, and security plan creation. Proficiency with security tools like SIEM, DLP, IPS. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and stay updated on threats. Preferred Experience Over four years of experience in information security, with five+ preferred.
