We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, API development, Angular, and Kafka. Candidate will play a key role in our technology team, driving the development of innovative applications and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, development, and deployment of Java-based enterprise applications. Architect and develop microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks. Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and other backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Implement efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code adhering to best practices. Develop and enhance front-end components using Angular. Integrate and manage messaging systems using Kafka for real-time data processing. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of professional experience in Java development. Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. Proven experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong knowledge of Angular and front-end development. Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging systems. Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred, but not required: Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries beyond Angular (e.g., React, Vue.js). We offer: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
