The Challenge
We are seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer (SE) to report to the Solutions Engineering Manager. This role involves driving business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, product evaluation, and competitive positioning support to prospective customers for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform.
Your Mission
Serve as a technical expert on system integrations during major sales opportunities, including preparing and delivering proposals, RFPs, and custom proof-of-concept evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust's integration capabilities.
Conduct technical deep dives to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices.
Support sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options.
Coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner teams to stay informed on product capabilities and future directions.
Perform custom proof-of-concept evaluations to demonstrate integration capabilities.
Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by producing high-quality proposals and supporting assets.
Manage all sales cycle activities within Salesforce CRM system.
You Are You should have a clear understanding of the privacy industry, including regulatory environments, and use this knowledge to support your responsibilities. Staying updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs is essential. YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the technology industry or enterprise cloud software.
Experience in selling, configuring, and demonstrating software.
Experience implementing software solutions for enterprise companies.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS. Skills in Powershell scripting, ASP.NET, and C# are a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming.
Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering.
Strong entrepreneurial skills for success in a complex, evolving environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Salary Range $127,500—$191,250 USD, based on location, skills, experience, and education. The role may include bonuses, equity, commissions, and benefits.
