We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Coppell. We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. The Network Engineers role is to ensure the stability and integrity of data, video, voice over IP (VoIP), and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), and securing networks using firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, and remote connectivity. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of all network systems and services. Plan and deploy LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless solutions across multiple locations and vendors. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network access control. Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support network integration, expansion, and modernization projects. Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance issues and outages, escalating as needed to ensure minimal disruption. Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, standards, and procedures. Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent from other vendors. Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS. Experience with enterprise wireless technologies and deployments. Proficient in implementing and managing security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with multiple network vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti etc). Experience with cloud networking and SD-WAN solutions. Familiarity with Cisco Meraki environments Knowledge of VoIP infrastructure and QoS optimization.
