Director of Marketing at Ultra Records , you will develop and implement innovative, data-driven marketing strategies. Your focus will be on building digital marketing campaigns for artists and projects, utilizing analytics to measure and optimize success. You will collaborate closely with artists and their teams to ensure their vision is reflected in all marketing efforts, from conception to execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing tools, data analytics, and key platforms such as Melody IQ, Chart Metric, and Sony’s internal data tools, balancing creativity with measurable results. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage innovative digital marketing campaigns that drive fan acquisition, engagement, and retention. Collaborate with artists and management to define fan engagement strategies aligned with their goals. Use analytics tools like Melody IQ, Chart Metric, and trend reports to track metrics, identify growth opportunities, and optimize campaigns. Set and report on KPIs related to fan growth, engagement, and retention. Identify new digital marketing strategies and platforms to expand fan bases. Coordinate with creative, digital, international, and A&R teams to ensure campaign cohesion and alignment with artist brands. Oversee social media and content strategies to maximize fan interaction and conversion. Lead creative brainstorms and develop artist-centric campaigns to acquire new fans and enhance digital presence. Maintain communication with artists and management to align on marketing goals. Ideal Candidate Profile Creative self-starter capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinker with a background in fan acquisition, digital marketing, and performance analytics. Experienced in using digital marketing tools (Melody IQ, Chart Metric) to drive engagement. 6+ years of progressive marketing experience in the entertainment industry, preferably in electronic music. Deep knowledge of music culture, especially in electronic music, and understanding of fan behavior. Organized with excellent project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills for communication across all levels of management and artists. Availability for business hours and music events at night.
