Director of Nursing
to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Direct, manage, and coordinate delivery of nursing and clinical care in a 90-bed post-acute facility. Oversee all admission, discharge, and transfer processes to ensure regulatory compliance. Supervise MDS assessments, care planning, and RAI processes across all units. Monitor and enforce infection control procedures and safety standards. Review incident, accident, and 24-hour reports to ensure timely response and corrective action. Conduct daily rounds in nursing units to assess care quality and regulatory adherence. Ensure compliance with resident-specific care plans and continuity of care. Support a culture of compassionate service aligned with organizational values. Partner with leadership to uphold standards of clinical excellence and resident satisfaction. Lead and mentor nursing staff while promoting a positive and team-centered environment.
Position Requirements:
Strong knowledge of clinical care standards and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, state/federal nursing regulations). Proficient in healthcare reporting tools and electronic medical records (EMRs). Ability to lead teams and manage personnel issues effectively. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Reliable, flexible, and mission-driven with a commitment to elder care.
