Senior Accounting Manager
I'm partnered with the CFO at a multi-million dollar subsidiary of a F200 conglomerate located near Chicago Heights, IL. The holding company has over 100 businesses and 12 different groups, with this division in particular being in huge growth mode. They are now seeking an Senior Accounting Manager to join the team and oversee 2 of their locations. Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports. Manage and maintain detailed cost accounting systems, including performing cost variance analyses. Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Handle cost accounting responsibilities, including inventory account reconciliations. Ensure adherence to GAAP and the company's internal accounting standards. Support both internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and assistance. Develop and enforce internal controls to protect organizational assets. Evaluate production and operational metrics to provide insights for management decision-making. Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to identify business drivers and enhance financial outcomes. Assist in supervising the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
