Food Service Worker - Retail Location: Marquette, MI
Pay: $17.34 per Hour What's the Job? Under routine supervision, perform a variety of duties necessary for the daily maintenance, operation and supervision of employees in a retail operation. Provide skills and perform duties in the preparation and resale of various food, beverage and retail items. Ensure success through excellent customer service and maintenance of retail operation standards. Customer and Personal Service-Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Ability to assess customer orders, kitchen tickets, and expedite food from the kitchen to service team. What's Needed? 32 to 40 hours a week-shift days will vary between Sunday through Friday, possible temp to perm for the right person. Once hired on perm, benefits are offered. Shifts start times will vary between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Required: Eighteen months experience in retail/convenience stores and/or retail restaurants, including using cash registers, food preparation, serving and customer service. Food Service Sanitation Certification (ServSafe) or the ability to obtain within six months from the start of employment.
