Employment Litigation Associate
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in employment law and litigation, including experience with PAGA actions, wage and hour disputes, and discrimination/harassment claims. You will manage your own caseload from intake through settlement or trial, supported by a strong legal staff and advanced automated systems that maximize case efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Manage employment law cases from pre-litigation through settlement or trial Draft legal documents, including memoranda, pleadings, discovery, and motions Draft and respond to written discovery requests Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel Take and defend depositions (experience strongly preferred) Prepare and argue motions in court Attend and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Required Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar 2+ years of employment litigation experience on the plaintiff side Proficiency in PAGA, sexual harassment, discrimination (race, national origin, sex, age, disability), wrongful termination, FMLA/CFRA claims, and wage and hour class actions Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Strong organizational and case management abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Compensation and Benefits: Performance-based bonuses 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Seniority level
