Position Overview Assist with security and privacy investigations, including breaches and fraud; Conduct forensic analysis of digital information using standard techniques and tools; Apply investigative and scientific methods to answer questions about system compromises; Research and organize information to determine hacker activity, data theft, or evidence for litigation; Collect digital evidence defensibly and document chain-of-custody; Leverage programming and database skills (Python, T-SQL, VBA, Excel, C#, etc.); Communicate findings and draft reports; Develop new tools with stakeholders to support forensic work; Stay current with developments in digital forensics and incident response. Desired Qualifications Graduating December 2025/Summer 2026 with a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Management Information Systems, or related fields; Strong understanding of OS, software, hardware; Experience with forensic investigations, tools, and malware analysis; Knowledge of evidence handling and chain-of-custody procedures; Ability to draft reports and communicate technical findings; Experience with automation tools and scripts; Understanding of incident handling and attack techniques; Certifications like SANS GIAC, IACIS, Guidance Software are preferred but not required; Effective communication, initiative, teamwork, and time management skills; Interest in consulting demonstrated through coursework, work, or activities.
