Job Summary As a Sales Consultant, you’ll help power business success with extraordinary HR by pursuing new prospects, sharing and quantifying our value proposition, and selling TriNet’s comprehensive solutions, including benefits, payroll, and HR services to companies with 5-99 employees within your designated territory. You’ll prospect, build your book of business, own your opportunities, and execute your sales process through an organized calendar of activities. You will build pipeline, conduct sales meetings, write proposals, gain approvals, and present to prospects, including C-level executives and business owners.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Develop an annual plan to meet targets in your territory, covering multiple states or regions and a diverse industry portfolio.
Build a balanced pipeline of prospects through prospecting methods like cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and leveraging ecosystem partners.
Qualify opportunities by understanding the target market and decision-making personas.
Establish trusted advisor relationships to secure long-term client relationships.
Utilize a multi-step sales process with defined criteria and internal approvals, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Use sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo efficiently.
Meet sales activity metrics to achieve quota targets.
Complete administrative tasks promptly.
Demonstrate TriNet’s core values daily.
Required for All Jobs
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Typically 3+ years in B2B complex sales; PEO experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to build a book of business and develop partnerships.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.
Detail-oriented and adaptable.
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel within your territory.
Work Environment
Remote work possible; reliable internet required.
