Application Systems Analyst IV
focuses on full life-cycle management of requirements and specifications, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and user training support for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS). This position is responsible for developing system specifications from business requirements, tracking those requirements through all project phases, and applying professional knowledge to resolve complex issues. The ability to obtain and maintain classified information at the Public Trust level. Advanced knowledge of application systems tools, practices, and procedures. Expertise in design applications using computer modeling, simulation, and optimization. Proficiency in a Windows-based environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with pharmacovigilance IT projects, data analysis, and industry regulations. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee projects from analysis through implementation, supporting multiple projects and daily operations. Serve as a client and department representative, coordinating between teams. Develop requirements, write test cases, and support QA efforts. Document specifications, train users, and facilitate meetings. Stay current with new technologies and industry standards. Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field, with at least eight years of professional experience, preferably in software solutions and EPLC projects. Physical Demands
Primarily office work, requiring sitting, handling objects, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Accommodations available for disabilities. Additional Information
This position is contingent upon funding. Salary range is $120K-$140K, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and professional development.
