Coater Machine Operator
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the coatings industry, is seeking a Coater Machine Operator to join their team. As a Coater Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in machine operation, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Coater Machine Operator Location: Newburyport, MA Pay Range: $22 - $23 Shift: Monday
Friday 11pm
7am What's the Job? Read schedules to determine timing for solutions and changeovers needed at coating machines. Stop and start operation of the machine using the control panel. Align or fasten machine parts such as rollers and blades using hand tools. Observe machine and product during operation to detect defects or deviations from specifications. Perform a variety of machine setups and operations to imprint a coating and design onto various films. What's Needed? Experience in manufacturing, ideally in machine operation (non-CNC). Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Comfortable with material handling and operating heavy machinery. Ability to perform quality testing and make pass/fail decisions.
