Arvato is hiring for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the companys infrastructure, technical operations, architecture, engineering, and IT support (either directly or indirectly), with a primary focus on one US location. You will also serve as SME or backup for other locations as needed. This role collaborates with international IT teams.
Using analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, you will link and apply complex technologies to business strategies and translate technical language for audiences of all levels. This role applies knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, outsourced systems, and system integration to create and implement technology solutions for business challenges.
Your Tasks
Facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources. Support the international administration of our hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Modern Workplace IT initiatives. Design aspects of application architecture and assist in migrating existing applications to the cloud. Manage infrastructure operations locally and remotely, following company policies. Support location expansions for existing or new buildings in various geographic locations. Develop automation strategies to enhance performance in the cloud environment. Participate in system security and backup procedures with global IT and Risk teams. Ensure the security of information systems, domains, and equipment. Be on-call as needed based on business requirements. Office:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in a mid-level IT position. 1 year experience with an IT environment compliant with ISO27001 standards. Experience in data security, risk management, and compliance. Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Team-oriented with leadership, motivation, and training abilities. Ability to commute or relocate to Louisville, KY. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. We Offer
