Pillar4 Media is seeking a

Director, Email Marketing

to join its fast-growing team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Director, Email Marketing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email marketing strategies, e-commerce, digital marketing, creative content, and advanced analytics. This teammate will be responsible for leading the strategy development, execution, and optimization of email and SMS campaigns designed to engage, convert, and retain customers while driving revenue growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to VP of Paid Media and Analytics, the Director, Email Marketing will:

Lead the strategy development, execution, and optimization of comprehensive email marketing campaigns that enhance user journeys, boost engagement, and increase monetization. Track, analyze, and optimize key performance metrics such as conversion rate and ROI for all email marketing strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improved yield. Utilize advanced analytics, customer insights, and segmentation strategies to send personalized, relevant, and timely content to various customer segments. Own and implement a robust testing plan that continuously tests content, CTAs, layouts, and visuals to maximize revenue. Research, implement, and manage email marketing tools and platforms, staying up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Partner with cross-functional teams such as Design, Product, Technology, Paid, and Partnerships to execute on email marketing strategies.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, and digital marketing (Experience with a marketplace business and with e-commerce brands preferred). Proficiency in email marketing and SMS platforms (e.g., BeeHiiv, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, etc.). Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, reporting, and optimization. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customizations. Strong analytical mindset and experience with data analytics tools. Proven track record of driving measurable results through a data-driven approach. Strong creative skills with a keen eye for design and content that drives action and resonates with target audiences. Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

The Package
