Overview

The Vice President, Total Rewards is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for developing and executing compensation, benefits, payroll, HR systems, and people data analytics strategies across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and India. This role oversees all aspects of Total Rewards, including executive compensation, sales incentives, equity programs, and benefits, with a focus on building scalable infrastructure to support business growth. The VP manages centralized U.S.-based functions and provides dotted-line leadership to an expanding India-based team. Collaboration with senior leadership, Finance, HR Business Partners, and Commercial leaders is essential to ensure strategies are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Program Design:

Develop and refine global compensation strategies, including base pay, executive pay, incentive plans, and equity programs. Review and optimize sales compensation and commission plans to align with business goals. Advise on executive offers, promotions, retention, severance, and governance. Evaluate market competitiveness using surveys and benchmarking. Lead people planning and headcount budgeting with Finance and HR Operations. Oversee relocation programs, including third-party management and policy design. Equity & Long-Term Incentives:

Manage global equity programs, including grants, vesting, settlements, and terminations. Ensure processes are compliant and aligned with governance standards. Job Architecture:

Lead the implementation and maintenance of scalable job architecture, role mapping, titling, and employee alignment across regions. Maintain consistency in job descriptions and levels. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to ensure accurate compensation alignment. HR & Compensation Analytics:

Lead data analytics, dashboards, and reporting. Provide insights on pay equity, incentive effectiveness, workforce trends, and planning. Ensure data integrity and support scalable reporting. HRIS & Payroll:

Oversee payroll operations, ensuring compliance. Partner on evaluating and implementing a new global HRIS within 1–2 years. Drive automation and efficiency in HR processes. Global Total Rewards Oversight:

Ensure alignment of programs across regions. Provide dotted-line leadership to India-based team. Monitor regulatory changes and trends globally. Mergers & Acquisitions:

Support due diligence and integration of compensation and benefits. Lead post-acquisition harmonization of rewards programs. Benefits Strategy:

Oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring they are cost-effective, competitive, and compliant. Collaborate on design and communication with external brokers and internal teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related; Master’s preferred. • At least 10 years of HR experience, including 7+ years in Total Rewards leadership. • Experience managing executive compensation, sales incentives, equity programs. • Proven experience with job architecture frameworks. • Oversight of payroll and global compensation programs. • Involvement in HRIS evaluation and implementation preferred. • Experience with headcount budgeting and collaboration with Finance and HR Operations. • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. • Advanced Excel skills required. • Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills. • Business acumen and leadership presence for interfacing with C-suite and Board.
